Answer: Don’t have a hammertoe, but there is plenty of room in this shoe. My husband has a wide foot & this shoe was perfect for him... we bought a 9 his regular size, but if he had a hammertoe I think I would buy a half size larger... just my opinion, of course. -

Does this shoes easy to walk on carpets etc?
Answer: Yes, I have no problem with walking on carpet or tile. These are probably the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I give them 5 stars! -

Answer: I, too, am a diabetic. The shoes are very comfortable. After buying them, I would be tempted to buy a 1/2 size less as they seem to be a little wider than normal.
