The CAP Barbell Standard 1-Inch Threaded Dumbbell Handles are an affordable and good quality option for those who prefer to have the flexibility of using their own plates. These dumbbell handles weigh about 3.5 lbs each including the collars, and the hand hold portion of the bars are a touch over five inches long which can be upgraded with FatGrips. Each end has four inches of threads, so you can get 3 and 1/2 inches of weights on each end. One downside is that the cheap collars that come with the handles may not stay tight, so you need to check them between sets, or upgrade to better quality collars. The weight capacity of these handles is uncertain, but generally, users can put 40 lbs on each handle. The hole in the plate needs to be compatible with a 1-inch size, so they may not fit 2-inch or Olympic sized plates. The grip is rubberised, and the handle is made of metal. Overall, these dumbbell handles are sturdy, affordable, and facile to use. Ideal for those who don't want to spend hundreds or even thousands of dollars on a set of high-end dumbbells and have limited space. However, they may not suit those who prefer heavy loads for their workouts or have big hands.
