Can this be broken down into 2 tiers (taking away the bottom plate)?
Answer: Definitely yes. It all comes apart. -

I lost my assembly parts, all I have are the plates now. Can I buy just rods and 1 screw?
Answer: Sorry, but we don't sell parts, we only have the cake stand as a full set. In addition, the current hardware may not work for your plates as it could be slightly differently designed. -

Can you disarm to carry?
Answer: Absolutely! It comes disassembled and you just need to build it when you need it. -
Question:
Can you use just 2 plates or does it have to be set up with all 3?
Answer: You can set the cake server up with 2 plates as well. Simply screw the top metal piece instead. -

Does it rotate?
Answer: The plates themselves won't rotate. You can only rotate the pieces together. -

Are any or all parts dishwasher safe?
Answer: Yes, I've washed them in the dishwasher. They are well made. -

Diameter of the screw please?
Answer: The diameter of the screw is 1/2 inch. All parts are packed for easy assembly. -

Can it be converted to 2 tiers?
Answer: Yes, it can. It would require a larger plate size too. -

Does this have tiny parts, like tiny plastic washers, for example? Little parts that can be lost?
Answer: No, it has 2 metal washers, 2 plates, and the rods. -
Question:
How many cupcakes can this hold?
Answer: The bottom plate is nice and big. We did 8 cupcakes on the second tier only, so I think you could get 18 to 24 using all 3 tiers for cupcakes.
