The Rainbird 150-PGA 1 1/2" Inlet globe/angle irrigation valve is designed for reducing pressure drop across zone valves and pipes for sprinkler systems. It has a female threaded inlet of 1-1/2". The product comes with a solenoid and has an inlet on the bottom as well as on the side, providing versatility to the user. The valve is suitable for commercial purposes rather than residential use. The part is a direct replacement for the valve in previously installed irrigation systems. However, some customers faced leakage issues from the screw-in cap with the o-ring.
