The SpyderCHECKR Color Calibration tool is an easy-to-use product that comes in handy for color grading in video or photo editing software. The tool is small, measuring 5 3/8" W x 7 3/4" H, making it portable enough to carry in a protective sleeve. The software is available for Windows 10 and needs a license code to activate, which is provided after purchase. It has L*a*b* values for the color patches, but you need to get in touch with Datacolor support to retrieve color values. Feedback from customers has been mostly positive, with many stating that it helps them color correct their footage quickly. Some customers have mentioned that the black chips are almost useless as they aren't jet black. One customer also stated that they wouldn't recommend the SpyderCHECKR to anyone unfamiliar with color calibration tools or proprietary software. Additionally, the instructions provided were weak, and no good tutorials were available at the time of the purchase.
