The REED Instruments CM-8822 Coating Thickness Gauge is a suitable tool for measuring the thickness of non-magnetic coatings on both non-magnetic and magnetic surfaces. It features high accuracy with a resolution of 0.1 μm and can measure thickness in the range of 0-1000μm/0-40mils. This gauge can also be used on curved surfaces but requires zero adjustment calibration before use. It includes a probe and has a user-friendly design. However, it cannot be used on wood, and it only measures in μm and mil.
