TIMKEN Transfer Case Components 370247A Editorial Review
The Timken axle seal is a product that is designed to fit Ford trucks of different models and years. Most customers found that the product was efficient and well priced. Based on customer reviews, the product fits precisely on a 2002 F250 4x4 with Sterling 10.5 rear differential, a 1999 F350 single rear wheel truck, a 2003 F350, and a 2002 7.3l F350 rear wheel hub on a 10.5-inch Sterling rear end. Additionally, the customers found it easy to install, and it was greased when delivered. However, a few customers complained that the parts were incorrect, and they had to return the product. Some stated that when delivered, the item included an inferior red ring and lacked the outside rubber seal. The issue of fitment affected customers with dual wheels and having a Dana 80 axle. Furthermore, one customer experienced a leak after 100 miles, while a few customers noted that it became difficult to put in. In conclusion, the Timken axle seal is an excellent product for specific Ford truck models that fit nicely and efficiently. However, some customers received an inferior item, and it's essential to determine the correct fitment before purchasing.
