Garmin - Battery - NiMH - for Oregon 600, 600t, 650, 650t

In evaluating the 6" White and Blue Outdoor Accessories Garmin NiMH Battery Pack designed for GPSMAP 64, 64S, 64ST, and Oregon 600 series, customer experiences highlight a mix of satisfaction and frustration. Many users were initially impressed by the affordability of the product and found it convenient to charge, with a snug and secure fit in their devices. Positive feedback notes the battery pack's ability to last a full day over multiple outings, suggesting that for casual use, it can effectively replace traditional batteries, potentially offering savings in the long run. However, not all feedback is unanimously positive. Some users reported issues with the battery pack, particularly when paired with certain Garmin GPS models. For instance, one customer faced challenges with the Oregon 700, where the device’s default settings led to Constant power drain, undermining the battery’s performance. This has raised concerns about the longevity and reliability of the product, with certain users finding that the Garmin battery pack underperformed compared to standard batteries in more demanding situations, particularly during extended outdoor excursions. Overall, while the Garmin NiMH Battery Pack is appreciated for its cost-effectiveness and ease of use for casual users, it does have its limitations in terms of performance with specific GPS models and under heavy usage conditions. **
