- The Battery Tender Junior High Efficiency ( 8V 1.25 AMP) Battery Charger and Maintainer is perfect for all lead-acid, flooded or sealed maintenance free batteries (AGM and gel cell). It has a complete 4-step charging program (Initialization, Bulk Charge, Absorption Mode, Float Mode), making your battery care completely automatic. It automatically switches to float / maintenance voltage after fully charging the battery. If the battery voltage drops too far under load, full charger output power resumes.Spark proof and with reverse polarity protection, this charger and maintainer is safe and worry free. Approved by the UL / CSA / BC / FCC, and listed in the California Appliance Efficiency Database.
