Do I need any special tools for installation?
Answer: No, you only need screws. Self drilling hex head #10 x 3/4” screws are suggested per post. -

Can I order a custom size or length?
Answer: Yes, we offer custom lengths as requested. -

Are the posts made with USA materials?
Answer: Yes, all our posts are manufactured with USA material. -
Question:
What gauge is the metal?
Answer: Gauge 16 (0.065"). It will fit any 2-3/8" regular fence post. Extenders fit outside the diameter of your existing post so it will avoid water from coming into your existing one. -
Question:
Can these be cut, easily? Any recommendation for saw/blade combo?
Answer: I used my reciprocating saw with metal cutting blade. Went through like butter. -
Question:
What is the od of the narrow end and the id of the wide end?
Answer: The diameter size of the post is exactly what you should have. Now, the flared area is about 0.010"-0.015"od bigger for a snug fit. For example, on the 2-3/8" (2.375") dia post, the inside diameter is about 2.532". -
Question:
My fence posts are 67in. tall. I need them to be 72in. Are the 6 in extensions after the fitting or the entire piece is 6 in.?
Answer: It is after the fitting. Post itself it about 8.5" long. 6" is the rise. -
Question:
Will this support my existing solar panels if I extend with this post?
Answer: We design the post extenders mainly for fences; however, a lot of people use for different applications. The one thing we guarantee is, the splice is very sturdy. The connection is snug plus you have to use 3 self-drilling screws (in our case use galvanized). We have never had a complaint about the extender not being strong enough. It is a good product and easy to install.
