This linkage-type post works much better than the telescoping suspension seat posts as it moves more naturally and reacts to even small bumps. The product is well built, sturdy and good looking, and works as designed. However, it needs some adjusting to get it right. It is easy to install, and there is a pre-load adjuster that you can use to adjust the setting on the bottom of the shaft. It comes with a protective cover, which is great to prevent dirt and grime from getting caught up in the linkages and roller bearing. The only downside is that the linkage design takes up a lot of vertical space (about 3.5in), so you need to make sure you have enough space to accommodate it on your set-up.
