- The Hofner Solid Cedar Top Mahogany Body Classical Acoustic Guitar has a mahogany body and a cedar top. This instrument is the ideal students' model and comes recommended by the EGTA (European Guitar Teachers Association). Its full-scale mahogany neck has a rosewood fingerboard with a comfortable nut width of 50mm. The rosewood bridge and bone saddle provide excellent intonation and sustain.About HofnerH¶fner was established in 1887 by Karl H¶fner who was followed by two of his sons and his grandaughter in developing the company into a world leading instrument manufacturer. Today they are the largest manufacturer of stringed instruments in Western Europe exporting products throughout the world. They produce a large range of classical and acoustic guitars and an exciting range of electric guitars.
