The mesh netting that creates the squares for controlled feeding rips through easily, and the hooks and straps break at the slightest pull from the animal. Some customers said that the bags fell to the ground on the first night of use. The stitching also came apart quickly, and the snap is not durable enough for even a small animal. Overall, the Slow Feeder Hay Bag is a poor quality product that is not worth the money.
