The bi-color feature allows quick and easy matching of the light to the location, and the portability makes it easy to take on-the-go. Improvements to this light include a more durable design and better organization in the included carrying case. While not as powerful as the Aputure 300D II, it is more versatile and suitable for many situations. The IPX8 rating allows for underwater use for product photography and videography. However, the x bracket can be difficult to install, and the mount restricts downward aiming.
