The 2 HP SPL 3450 RPM, 56 Frame, 120/240V, 15/7.5Amp 5/8" Shaft, Single Phase NEMA Air Compressor Motor is a reliable product for air compressor use. It is not suitable for a table saw because it is not a TEFC motor and sawdust in the air may cause motor failure. The mount holes are standard NEMA sizing, and the steel plate hole size needed is 5/16. This motor cannot be safely run with a VFD, and it is not reversible. The wiring diagram is on the motor spec sticker. Customer experience and reception: - One customer bought this motor for an air compressor and had to replace the start capacitor after two refills.
