    Answer: The device can datalog up to 256,000 AC voltage and current measurements.
  • Question: What is included with the device?

    Answer: The device includes 2 current clamp sensors, 2 voltage sensors, 4 alligator clips, 4 probes, USB cable, software, AC adapter and batteries.
  • Question: Can the measurements be exported to Microsoft Excel?

    Answer: Yes, the measurements can be downloaded and exported to Microsoft Excel.
  • Question: Does this have to be connected to laptop to work?

    Answer: The unit must be connected to "activate" the recording function. It comes with 2 current sensors and 2 voltage sensors. One of my amp clamps has a broken connector pin though. The design component, and the MMI decisions are very poor.
  • Question: Does this item come with everything shown? Two current sensors and two voltage sensors?Does the software work with windows 7?

    Answer: Yes, it comes with 2 current sensors and 2 voltage sensors, Its works fine on Windows 7 and 8. You can setup for readings every second or minute or hour, It´s up to you. I do recommend this model.
  • Question: I would like to hook up the data logger to an AC socket and see how the voltage varies for a day, a week, or two weeks. Is this the right tool?

    Answer: Yes. You can probe two AC voltage sources. You can log about 3 days of information taking a reading each second. If you record less often, one minute, then you time will extend. You can stop when memory is full or change the settings so that it will continuously record overlaying the old info. You must stop recording then transfer the recorded data to the windows PC application for listing, charting.
