yinfente Bodies Editorial Review
The Unfinished Guitar Body Replacement offers an affordable option for those looking to practice their guitar finishing skills or wanting to create their own custom design. The body is made from mahogany and maple wood, with a good grain and overall shape that fits the Tele Style Electric guitar. The humbucker cutouts fit the pickguard and the oval hole for the potentiometers is covered by the pickguard. However, the veneer on the maple top is very thin, making it difficult to sand, and the neck cutout has a rough bottom where the router ran. The body also has issues with the glue leaking through in a few places, which makes it difficult to get an even dye finish without covering up the flaws with paint or decals.
