The user instructions are good enough to get started, but they could be more detailed. The pan had come apart during transit, but it was easily fixed. After a few hours of warming up and calibrating, the balance was responsive, though the sensitivity decreases after a few uses. Overall, the scale is as described and delivered in a timely manner.
