Nutritionist's Take
Allergan Refresh Plus Lubricant Eye Drops are primarily designed for eye hydration and relief from dryness rather than nutritional benefits. They contain ingredients such as sodium hyaluronate, which is known for its moisture-retaining properties. From a nutritional perspective, there are no calories, sugars, or fats, making it free from traditional dietary concerns. Potential drawbacks include dependency on artificial lubrication for those with chronic dry eyes, which can mask underlying health issues. While these eye drops are suitable for general use, individuals with specific allergies should review the ingredient list carefully. Overall, Refresh Plus is a reputable product for managing dry eye symptoms but doesn’t contribute to nutritional health. It is not a food product and should be seen as a specialized health aid rather than a dietary supplement.
