How to remove the plugs from filter?
Answer: The plugs can easily be removed with a small needle nose pliers or even tweezers if you dont have needle nose pliers. The plugs are on each end must be removed before trying to install and tubing into the filter. Answer: Not sure what you are referring to when you state a "sealed cap". This filter is a 1/4" Quick Connect, it comes with two plugs on each side to protect the filter (which are meant to be removed before installation).
