The ruff can be extended by copying the folds to extend the neck size. The ruff collar is an effective accessory that looked great in a school production of "The Taming of the Shrew" and is perfect for History day at school. However, it doesn't seem super durable, and some buyers have had trouble with the fit on their necks.
