The motor speed controller is a reliable and effective product for controlling the speed of motors up to 250 watts and 20 amps. It comes with a variable resistor knob for controlling speed but doesn't have a soft start delay. The forward/reverse switch has wiring cross-connected to perform the operation, and a logic-level mosfet driving a DPDT relay is the best solution to replace the f/r switch for electronic logical control. It can be replaced with a timer and installation is relatively easy, however, some users reported that the potentiometer is too sensitive, which may require its replacement. The size of the hole required to mount the forward/reverse switch is 104mm.
