It has a removable footbed, but there is almost no cushioning with the footbed. The boot is waterproof, making it suitable for wet conditions. However, it has not been tested in serious cold or mud. According to reviews, the boots run a little large, and sizing down may be necessary. They are also relatively wide, which may not be suitable for people with narrow feet. Some users found it difficult to get the boots on due to the tight opening, but others found them comfortable once they were on.
