Answer: Yes. A handy hook is supplied to lift the cover. In addition to this hook, there is a removable strainer that fits into the drain outlet that can be emptied of hair and other debris that gets through the drain cover. -

Answer: I can’t remember if it did, but the description says that it doesn’t in the special features section. -

Answer: Why would you want to do that? It fits perfectly in the metal catch drain. The assembly also includes a hair catching basket. I believe it’s sold as a unit, not each piece separately. Email Neodrain to confirm. -
