Jabra Headsets 14201-35 Editorial Review

**Editorial Review of the Jabra LINK 35 EHS Adapter for Avaya** The Jabra LINK 35 EHS adapter is designed to enhance the functionality of Avaya phones, particularly for users looking for a wireless headset experience. Overall, customers appreciate the mobility this adapter offers, allowing them to move up to 300 meters away from their desk without losing connectivity. Users report a reliable connection with compatible Jabra headsets, specifically noting good reception and sound quality during calls. However, the product does come with its shortcomings. A notable issue is the lack of comprehensive installation instructions, leaving some users frustrated as they attempt to set up the device. The included instructions Consist mainly of basic pictures that seem insufficient for proper installation. Additionally, while the device functions as intended, some users have experienced issues with audio notifications; the adapter does not monitor sounds coming into the headset effectively. This means that if a user does not position the sensor correctly or has the volume turned low, they may miss incoming call alerts. Another significant drawback is the inability to end calls easily via the adapter—it requires the disconnecting of the line, which can be inconvenient. On the positive side, the electronic switch that the adapter employs is a noteworthy enhancement, removing the reliance on manual hookswitch devices and providing a seamless transition between speaker and headset calls. In summary, the Jabra LINK 35 EHS adapter offers a practical solution for those utilizing Avaya phones with Jabra headsets, with strengths in wireless range and mobility. However, potential buyers should be aware of its installation challenges, limited sound monitoring capabilities, and some restrictions regarding call control. **
