The Chase Harper USA 5501 Tail Trunk is a versatile, water and tear-resistant tail bag Constructed out of industrial grade ballistic nylon with an adjustable strap mounting system that allows for a universal fit. It has several zippered and sealed compartments to store your belongings, with snap-in rigid inner sides that can expand out quickly using zippers. The straps that attach the bag to the motorcycle are secure, long and can fit most cycles, with additional loops and bungee cords for attaching more bags. The bag is made in the USA, and the materials and Construction are of first-class quality. However, the buckles that connect the bag to itself leave a lot to be desired as there is a lot of play in them, causing the bag to move around more than desired. The snaps on the inner side panels also present some problems, as they may require a lot of pressure for some to work, and others don't work at all, making it difficult to open and close the bag. Also, there are some complaints about the bag's size and fit, where it only ties down in front and is unusable at the back, thus not fitting as well as expected.
