Moleskine Hardcover Executive Notebooks Editorial Review
The Moleskine Art Music Notebook is a high-quality notebook designed specifically for musicians, sound designers, and songwriters. It features left pages that are blank and right pages with a pentagram, providing the perfect space for jotting down harmonies, melodies, and musical ideas. The notebook itself is made with fine quality materials and has a sturdy binding that allows for easy navigation through the book. The paper is of good heft, not too thick, and tolerates erasures very well. Users have reported no bleed-through, although it's not recommended to use ink on manuscript paper frequently. However, there have been some mixed reviews regarding the paper thickness. Some customers were disappointed to find that ink bled through the pages, especially when using fountain pens. This may be due to the thinner paper used in this particular notebook, as compared to other Moleskine notebooks. Despite this, others have found the paper to be of good quality, erasing fine with minimal damage. Customers have also expressed satisfaction with the notebook's hard cover, which feels great and stays closed even when the strap wears out. However, there have been a few reports of corner bending upon delivery. Overall, the Moleskine Art Music Notebook is recommended for its quality, sturdiness, and useful layout. While there have been some concerns about ink bleed-through, the notebook is still appreciated by musicians and artists for its convenience and reliability.
