- AM FM Portable Radio Designed for Long-Range Reception, Audio Clarity, and Emergencies. The purpose of the CCRadio-2E is to make weak signals strong and produce crisp, accurate audio for the spoken word. AM performance comes from our patented Twin-Coil Ferrite AM Antenna which boosts weak AM signals under most circumstances. FM's reception is exceptional in its ability to bring in a weak station clearly. Audio can be adjusted for accurate and warm voice rendition and good musical performance. Five memory buttons on top of the radio make it easier to change stations rather than front-mounted buttons. It has a line input that works with content from your cellphone or tablet for superior audio. For an adverse situation, the radio has the NOAA Weather Band and Alert along with the 2 - 2-meter Ham band. Since the CCRadio's original debut in 1998, there have been countless revisions inside to improve performance, durability, and audio. It is one of the most popular portables manufactured, and it has evolved into C. Crane's flagship radio. Weight: 4 lbs (without optional batteries) Size: 11 W x 6.5 H x 4 D.
