Ranked Gaming Keyboards Editorial Review
The Gateron KS-9 G PRO Switches have been met with a generally positive reception from customers, with most praising their performance and feel during use. Many users appreciate the smoothness of the pre-lubed switches, particularly highlighting their suitability for gaming. The factory lube is frequently noted as being effective for a product at this price point, allowing for a premium typing experience without the need for additional modifications. Users have reported successful installations even in projects like custom keyboards and gaming controllers. They find the switches easy to handle, with many mentioning that the included switch puller significantly simplifies the installation process. A few customers pointed out that even during shipping, most switches arrived in good condition with minimal bent pins, though there was a slight learning curve for newcomers to mechanical switches. There’s a notable mention of the Gateron Blues switch's distinct clicky sound, although some users found the noise level problematic in shared workspaces. However, there are mixed feelings expressed regarding the physical feedback and auditory feedback of certain switch types, with some customers reporting an unwanted ringing sound with the feedback, which can be distracting in quiet environments. Overall, the Gateron KS-9 G PRO Switches offer a competitive option for mechanical keyboard enthusiasts seeking smooth, responsive, and affordable switches. **
