The mCover Case is designed to fit the 2020-2022 HP EliteBook 840 G7/G8 series of laptops with an Intel or AMD CPU. The case is made of hard plastic and comes in a bright red color. The top part of the case fits perfectly and snaps onto the laptop with ease. However, the bottom part does not fit as well, particularly in the area closest to the mousepad. Some customers have noted that it feels like it will break when they pick up the laptop or move it around. Additionally, a few customers received cases that were different from the color shown in the product photo. One customer received a neon orange case instead of the yellow-orange shown online. Another customer received a case with a small part broken off on the bottom piece, which was likely broken prior to shipping. The case was not sealed or protected during shipping, which could be a concern for some customers. Despite its flaws, many customers are pleased with the mCover Case. It does the job of protecting the laptop from scratches and minor hits. However, some customers wish it was made of a more "rubbery" plastic for better grip. Others wish it was more transparent so they could see the laptop's design underneath.
