- When refreshing transmission fluid, use Idemitsu CVTF Type H2 1qt (946 mL). It has a high quality base oil for top performance in push belt continuous transmissions. This fluid gives your vehicle high torque transfer from engine to wheels, which increases clutch operation and transmission life. This means it limits metal-to-metal wear and sludge or varnish build-up. We provide the best components for anti-shudder capabilities and smoother shifting for a bump-free ride. It is resistant to oxidation and thermal breakdown, so it inherently has a longer fluid life. This is a continuously variable transmission fluid for Honda vehicles and is recommended where HCF-2 transmission fluid is specified. Not suitable for automatic transmission and dual clutch transmission applications.
