I got mine and my box spring did not fit, and my mattress had to be forced in there. Is this normal? I made sure I ordered a California King? Help!
Answer: I had the same problem and realized that my mattresses and box spring were actually really a king and not a California king. I went to a furniture store and asked them to come out and measure, and they did and they told me I had the wrong mattresses so I ordered California king from them and they fit perfectly into the bed. -

Answer: About 4 to 5 inch. -
