Nutritionist's Take
The ADTEMP Temple Touch Thermometer is primarily a health monitoring device rather than a nutrition-related product. Nutritionists appreciate tools that facilitate overall health management, including temperature monitoring, which can be essential in assessing fever or illness in patients. The non-invasive nature of the device is a positive aspect, making it suitable for all ages, including children and the elderly. However, it's important to note that it does not provide nutritional benefits or contain ingredients since it is an electronic thermometer. Potential drawbacks include accuracy concerns compared to traditional thermometers in some situations. While it does not impact dietary needs directly, maintaining a healthy temperature can assist in monitoring health conditions that require dietary adjustments. Overall, while it is a useful tool for health monitoring, it is not a food product and lacks relevance to direct nutritional counseling.
ADC Oral 427 Editorial Review
The ADTEMP Temple Touch Thermometer is a handheld device that measures temperature by being placed on the forehead. While some users found it to be inaccurate, others had no issues and found it to work well. The device can take longer than the advertised 6 seconds to provide a reading, which may be frustrating for some users. The battery cover has been reported to be difficult to open, which can make changing batteries a challenge. The thermometer is also relatively expensive compared to similar products on the market. Overall, the ADTEMP Temple Touch Thermometer may work well for some users, but given its mixed reviews, it may be worth exploring other options.
