Can MAS Epoxies Wood Stabilizer be used on untreated wood?

Yes, MAS Epoxies Wood Stabilizer can be effectively used on untreated wood. It offers deep penetration that not only stabilizes but also protects the wood from future damage. Is MAS Epoxies Wood Stabilizer safe to use indoors?

This broad suitability allows you to tackle diverse restoration and repair projects seamlessly.

Can I sand MAS Epoxies Wood Stabilizer after it cures?

Absolutely! Once cured, MAS Epoxies Wood Stabilizer can be sanded to achieve a smooth finish. This makes it especially useful for projects requiring a refined appearance, allowing you to prepare surfaces for staining or painting. The product's durability ensures that sanding doesn’t compromise the strength of the repaired wood, so you can easily refine your work, whether it’s furniture, cabinetry, or decorative items, leading to professional-looking results.

How do I apply MAS Epoxies Wood Stabilizer to wood?

Applying MAS Epoxies Wood Stabilizer involves ensuring the wood surface is clean and dry. Use a brush, roller, or syringe to apply the mixed epoxy liberally to the affected areas, allowing it to penetrate the wood. Depending on the level of damage, multiple coats may be required. This method ensures the stabilizer fully saturates the wood, reinforcing its structure and protecting against future rot. It’s perfect for both major restorations and minor repairs.

Does MAS Epoxies Wood Stabilizer have a shelf life?

Yes, MAS Epoxies Wood Stabilizer does have a shelf life, which is typically around 1-2 years when stored unopened in a cool, dry place.
