VIOFO CPL-300 Filter for A229 Plus/A229 Pro/A139/A139 Pro Rear Camera

The VIOFO CPL-300 Filter has garnered a mixed reception among users, demonstrating both its potential benefits and notable drawbacks. On one hand, several customers have experienced significant improvements in the quality of their video footage after installing this circular polarizing lens on their dash cameras. Users reported that colors appeared more vibrant, eliminating a washed-out look, and claimed to have noticed enhanced clarity, with some even able to read license plates that were previously indecipherable. The ease of installation, facilitated by preinstalled tape, was also mentioned as a positive aspect, making it an accessible upgrade for streamlining the camera's performance. However, not all experiences have been favorable. Several customers encountered issues with the durability of the product, noting that the lens is fragile and prone to cracking, which may be exacerbated by improper installation. A couple of users found that the filter did not effectively reduce glare as advertised, leading to dissatisfaction with the purchase. One reviewer even expressed regret over the decision to install it, claiming it ultimately diminished the video quality rather than enhancing it. Another common theme was the challenge of installation timing, advising customers to apply the filter before mounting their cameras to avoid complications. In summary, while the VIOFO CPL-300 Filter shows potential for enhancing video quality for some users, careful installation and handling appear crucial to maximize its effectiveness and avoid disappointment. **
