Answer: No I don't believe it would work. It's a great case though. -

Does the hard case go inside this ?
Answer: It comes with its own hard case that, yes, is inside. I have not tried to replace the case inside with our own hard case. The one it comes with is quite nice. -

Does it have a slot for a tuning stick?
Answer: No. There is not slot inside the case for a tuning rod, but you can put one in the exterior zippered case, even a wooden one fits fine there. -

Answer: It’s too small for a flute my wife hated it and I had to return it -

Answer: Yes! This case will fit a Yamaha student flute. The 221 and 222 models. Any Yamaha flute with a C footjoint.

The Beaumont "Blue Polka Dot" Flute Case is a lightweight canvas C case with a shoulder strap. The case comes with its own hard case that is quite nice. Although there is no slot inside the case for a tuning rod, it can be put in the exterior zippered case, and even a wooden one fits fine. The padding is soft and plush and holds the C foot Jupiter flute securely. The zippered closure solves the issue of hinges snagging, catching or breaking. Despite being lightweight, the material is durable and has held up very well for 3 years of use. The design of the case solves all the issues with other flute cases. However, some customers complain that the flute does not fit snugly into the case.
