Colonial Needle Yarn Needles RX-14507 Editorial Review
The Colonial Needle Basting Extra Long Needles are a mixed bag for customers. Some have found them to be a good quality needle that is sharp and strong, making sewing easier. However, others have had problems with the needles, including the holes for threading not being open enough, receiving bent needles, and the eye being too small. On the positive side, many customers appreciate the length of the needle, which is about 2.25 inches long, making it easier to work with fabric and batting. The needles are flexible and stay sharp even after prolonged use, which makes them a good choice for hand quilting. On the negative side, some customers have complained about the packaging of the needles being sticky and messy, and that there is a strange odor. Additionally, some customers have noted that the needles are too thin for certain types of sewing, such as hand quilting with tiny stitches, as they tend to bend easily. Overall, if you're looking for an extra-long needle that is sharp and strong, the Colonial Needle Basting Extra Long Needles may be worth Considering, however be aware that some customers have had issues with them being difficult to thread or the eye being too small.
