The Pocket Coffee Densitometer PAL-COFFEE (BX/TDS) from import JPN by Atago measures coffee's brewed density as well as distinguishes if the coffee is over or under-extracted. However, it is not useful for determining caffeine content nor intended to measure mixed coffee with milk. The unit is made in Japan and comes with calibration certification which is written in Japanese. The numbers may be unreliable and frequently require calibration. Multiple readings may be needed to obtain an accurate reading. The display has 5 different readings that vary, but there is only one reading which scrolls across the display and displays the TDS. Despite that, it has been known to be Consistent, has reproducibility issues, and has some inConsistencies.
