- Norveç'in yaşayan en önemli yazarlarından Roy Jacobsen 2. Dünya Savaşı'nın Norveç toplumu üstüne etkilerini edebiyata aktaran ender yazarlardan.Barroy'de yaz, yıl 1946, kuş tüyleri içeri alınmış, yumurtalar fıçılara koyulmuş, askılardaki balıklar indirilmiş, tartılmış, bağlanmış, patates kilerde, bahçelerde kuzular hoplayıp zıplıyor, buzağılar annelerinden ayrılmış. Tezek kesilecek, eski ev boyanacak ki yenisinin yanında utanmasına gerek kalmasın. Ağılın arkasındaki tepede duran Ingrid Barroy koyda bir kırlangıç bulutunun altında yaklaşan tekneye, önceki sahibi iflas ettiğinde devraldıkları balina gemisi Salthammer'e bakıyor. Barroy'lüler balina avcısı olmuşlar.Rigel'in Gözleri Norveçli yazar Roy Jacobsen'in Görünmeyenler'le (YKY, 2016) başlayıp Beyaz Deniz (YKY, 2019) ile devam eden üçlemesinin son kitabı.Ingrid'in, ailesinin adını aldığı Barroy Adası'ndan ayrılarak kızının babasını -İngiltere'nin bombaladığı Alman savaş esiri gemisi Rigel'den kurtulan Rus tutsak Alexander'ı- bulmak için çıktığı yolculuğun epik anlatısı.Norveç'e özgü doğanın adeta bir kamera titizliğiyle kaydedildiği sinematografik bir roman olan Rigel'in Gözleri, masumiyet ve umuda dair etkileyici bir kitap.Jacobsen'in kaleminin değdiği neredeyse her şey ışık saçıyor.Times Literary Supplement Daha fazla göster
