Answer: Here’s some things to think of; will this part be mounted to a square to be frame, or round (pipe)? How large a piece of glass? In my case, I just finished my deck where I used 91” x 27” 1/2 tempered, weighing about 120# per piece, I needed thicker stronger brackets. Regardless of which you find, remember wind puts a hell of a torque on these, buy the largest you can find. I have a set I ordered out of curiosity, how could they work when a kit has 10 for 35, and the big suppliers sell the ones used commercially are more than 35 each, Well, the difference is the strength, if your building at ground level, using 3/8 pieces that are under 30”, these will probably do well. -
